A range of additional materials and resources relating to the proposed new bus services under the Dublin Area Bus Network Review plan are now available at BusConnects.ie. These materials have been prepared as part of the public consultation process that is now underway.
National Transport Authority (NTA) has published its Dublin Area Bus Network Redesign Public Consultation report. Under the proposals, the level of bus service will increase by 27%. This includes services on 11 brand-new orbital routes that will operate on a 15-minute frequency or better, in the north, south and west of the network area.
The National Transport Authority has today published the Core Bus Corridors Project report. This discussion document sets out draft proposals to vastly improve bus journey times and cycling priority along an increasing number of congested corridors in the Dublin region. The project is part of the NTA’s €2bn BusConnects Dublin programme to transform the city’s bus system.
