Applications to An Bord Pleanála (ABP) for Approval

The National Transport Authority (NTA) have given notice of their applications under Section 51(2) of the Roads Act 1993 (as amended) to An Bord Pleanála for approval in relation to proposed road developments consisting of the construction of the 12 Core Bus Corridor Schemes.

Formal statutory public consultation processes were triggered in respect of these schemes.  To view further details on these schemes click on the drop down arrow above.

As part of the application processes, comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessment Reports have been published and available for inspection (including online) or purchase, in addition to Compulsory Purchase Orders and Natura Impact Statements. Furthermore, statutory notices were published in national and local newspapers. The public had the formal opportunity to have their views heard and considered by An Bord Pleanála as part of the statutory consultation process to inform An Bord Pleanála. The public consultation periods for the Bray, Ringsend and Kimmage to City Centre schemes are currently open and all submissions can be made to An Bord Pleanála. The public consultation period for the other 9 schemes is closed.
